1. Acceptance

By installing or using CatalogChef ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

CatalogChef is a WordPress plugin with a hosted backend that uses AI to categorize your WooCommerce draft products into your published menu and to suggest product images. All changes remain as drafts and require your approval before publishing; product SKUs are never modified by the Service.

3. Licenses

On signup or subscription you receive a license key. You are responsible for keeping it secure and for all activity under it. A license is valid for the number of stores (domains) included in your plan; activating it on more stores than your plan allows is not permitted.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. By providing payment details you authorise recurring charges. You may cancel at any time; your access continues until the end of the current billing period. See our Refund Policy for refund terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation. • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise access the Service's backend systems without authorisation. • Resell or sublicense the Service without our written consent. • Share license keys, or activate a license on more stores than your plan permits.

6. AI-generated suggestions

The Service uses AI to suggest categories and product images. These suggestions may be imperfect or inaccurate. You are solely responsible for reviewing and approving all categories and images before publishing them to your store. We make no warranty that suggestions will be correct or achieve any specific outcome.

7. Your store data

You retain all rights to your products and content. To provide the Service we access only the product titles and barcodes you choose to process and the domain(s) on which your license is active. We do not access customer, order, or payment data from your store.

8. Intellectual property

You retain all rights to your store content. We retain all rights to the Service, its plugin code, and its underlying backend technology. Nothing in these Terms transfers any IP rights beyond what is described here.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its suggestions will meet your requirements.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue. Our total liability for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your license if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or fail to pay fees owed. You may cancel at any time. On termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days unless retention is required by law.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email or plugin notice of material changes. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction, as applicable.
